da última vez was performed as a site-specific outdoor performance at OUT.FEST 2025. The piece was inspired by the Mausoleum of Alfredo da Silva and Barreiro’s industrial history. Fascinated by the city’s former industrial zone, I engaged with the Mausoleum’s surroundings and the old stands of the Stª Bárbara football field, evoking the city’s past and present in collaboration with the participants in the project.

The piece featured the Barreiro Municipal Band with maestro Orlando Caldeira, the TAB Choral Group with maestro Manuel Goncalves, Pedro Carneiro and the Percussion Group of the Portuguese Chamber Orchestra. The work seeked to turn memory into a living space of encounter between musicians, audience, and sites.

The project was done within the scope of tekhnē, co-funded by the European Union, and my work was supported by Arts Council Norway.
